At the same time, to Rakesh (28), who was pressuring Naresh to repay Rs. 7 lakhs owed to him, Naresh promised an additional Rs. 13 lakhs if he assisted in the plot, and convinced him to join

As part of his scheme, Naresh convinced a tipper driver named Pradeep by promising him Rs. 2 lakhs; the driver then called Venkatesh, telling him the tipper had broken down in the village outskirts

Responding to the driver's call, when Venkatesh arrived at the scene, Naresh instructed him to lie under the tipper, forced him down, and drove the tipper forward

With the tipper's wheels rolling over his head, Venkatesh died on the spot

Based on the details provided by Naresh that it was an accidental death, the police registered a case

Insurance company representatives, who came to process the payout, grew suspicious of Naresh's responses and lodged a complaint with the police

Following the complaint from the insurance company representatives, the police investigated and confirmed that Venkatesh had been murdered by his own brother Naresh; they took Naresh, Rakesh, and Pradeep into custody
