  • FGM-148 Javelin Anti-Tank Missiles: (100 rounds, launchers, support) for enhanced anti-armor capability.
  • M982A1 Excalibur Artillery Rounds: (216 rounds, fire control, support) for improved precision strikes.

 

Key Details of the Deal (December 2025):

• Value: $52.8 Million.
• Items: AN/SSQ-53G, AN/SSQ-62F, and AN/SSQ-36 sonobuoys, plus technical and logistical support.
• Purpose: To improve India's anti-submarine capabilities, monitor underwater threats, and strengthen the strategic U.S.-India partnership.
• Platform: For deployment from India's MH-60R helicopters.
• Status: The U.S. Department of Defense notified Congress, initiating a review period, with the sale pending final approval. 

 

MH-60R Seahawk Support (Dec 2025):

• India's Ministry of Defence approved a nearly $946 million contract for long-term support (sustainment) of its 24 Lockheed Martin MH-60R helicopter fleet.
