SRK_SRK Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago The biggest problem with Amaravati is RealEstate. Anywhere in the world, town/city comes first and then realestate follows but here it is reverse. Logistacally and economically it will not work as private businesses always looks for margins/profits. Govt sector is different and they can construct anywhere they want but private companies and people run behind margins including you and me. Amaravati have lot of competition from neighboring cities and you have to give lands cheaply and lot of subsidies to bring in private which is big loss to state and you don't know how many jobs they create and how long they can survive in this ever changing dynamics. 1 Quote

Capital should just be for admin purpose ,pooling land of 33,000 acres for it itself is disaster in the making. Even if companies are willing to invest ,just to build infra for residents and connectivity for industries is going to take a lot of money ,in TDP estimates in last term it was more than one lakh crore, only they would know how much it costs now. 1 Quote
