  • Two people died and nine others were wounded following a shooting this afternoon at the Barus & Holley building of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, officials said.
  • Of the injured, one was in critical condition, six were critical but stable and two were stabilized, a Brown University Health spokesperson said tonight.
  • Two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the matter say a suspect is in custody in connection with the shooting.
