half of them given..that includes the family member and both EB2 and EB3 combined...no way its going to take 8 years

these 40k are yet to get green cards.they are still many in 2013 and 2014 who didnot get GC yet since dates moved back in July2022. PD 2014 was current only for 2months in 2022 year and so very few 2014 folks got GC.others just got EAD.

this is assuming there is no spillover bro.40k(including family members) dived by 5k(eb2+eb3) per year is about 8 years.Also many people are jumping into EB1 from service companies ,so spillover to EB2 and EB3 might be tough in future
