25F and stuck in a situation where I honestly do not know what to do. I completed my master's last year and got a contracting job in March. After a few months, a data leak incident happened in another team. They suspected one team member who was using company MacBooks and third-party devices like

 

TinyPilot, and that person was terminated

 

immediately. After this incident, my manager instructed everyone to raise requests for company provided laptops. Everyone received

 

Macs, which are very locked down and restricted. I delayed getting mine for another month, saying I was not comfortable with Mac setup and the new workspace. Eventually, had no choice and adjusted. For the last three months, things were manageable, but now they have started assigning me more tasks, and the pressure has increased a lot about my

 

performance and all.

My delivery manager instructed my team to get daily updates and ask me to do weekly email about my work status literally I got micromanaged also my team lead frequently

 

asks me to join his calls, share my screen, and do pair programming. Earlier, I managed by getting help through calls, tools, or other support, but now the work has become more complex. and I am in a verge of quitting this job but I have almost 60 lakhs bank loan and I am the only hope to support my family. One day, out of nowherel got a DM on Instagram saying turned out it's my team lead, after a quick chat he said he noticed my videos and complimented my content I felt but relaxed. I

 

always thought he was a very strict and angry person, so this surprised me. Over the next few sprints, he completed tasks himself and let me take the credit, which resulted in good appreciation from my managers. Recently, he asked if I wanted to go shopping with him since he is traveling to India, and I agreed.

It was the weekend, and he picked me u 4/7 from my apartment complex leasing office around 12 pm. We went shopping first, and he bought a lot of things while asking me

 

to choose everything, which felt fine and normal. Around 2 pm, we went for lunch and had good food, then continued shopping at another mall. Around 5 pm, he suggested street food, and since I had nothing else

 

planned for the day, I agreed, especially because it was free. By almost 8 pm, it was dark, and I asked him to drop me back at my apartment, but he said it was already late and invited me to his place to watch a movie.

 

I initially said no, but after he requested a couple of times, I agreed and clearly told him to drop me home after the movie. He said okay, and we went to his place, which was a fancy, well-maintained apartment. When I entered, it smelled really good, the place was neatly organized, and I was genuinely impressed. He then said he wanted to watch

 

horror movie.

When the movie started, it was a horror film,

 

but it had a lot of 18 plus content and many intimate scenes. The room was dark, and when those scenes came on, I got scared and moved closer to him and held his hand. He quietly grabbed my left hand and placed it on his lap, and in that weak moment he kissed by looking in to my eyes I realized something was happening. Things escalated, and we ended

 

up having bang bang. It was smooth and consensual, and we used protection. Since then, it has been about three months, and we have been seeing each other almost every weekend, we do our action mostly in his car and sometimes we go for long drives and all

Things were fine until October-Novemb 6/7 when he suddenly took one week off and stopped responding to my messages. My work was pending, and because of the stress,

everything by the end of the week. I had no option, so I took my laptop and went to my team lead's place to get the work done

responding at all. I was already very upset and knocked on his door. A woman opened it, and I was shocked. She asked who I was, and I said I was his colleague. She welcomed me

 

inside, introduced herself as his wife, ofere me to sit imon the couch in living room. When she told him, "Your colleague is here with her laptop," he came out of the bedroom. It was an extremely awkward moment the room is silent and He spent the entire evening helping me finish the work, pushed my code, and sent it to QA.

layoff list. When I asked my manager why, he said my lead gave the appraisal and mentioned that my performance was not that great. It feels like he is trying to get rid of me now that his wife is back from India. I honestly do not know what to do anymore..he never

 

went to India after our shopping and I believe he returned all the stuff we bought and now instincts says he justed used me for x.. now am scared of loosing my job. suggest me what do
