When did you experience this?

Recent expats(Not from 5-10 years ago) have been consistently giving feedback saying that their work culture in India is better than what they had experienced in United States.

Not saying its actually better than US.....but I do feel that its a pretty good improvement.

I didn't experience it ,i have never worked in big corporate in india.

I can only speak from hearsay, only in faang companies work culture is similar to u.s but in mid sized and small cap companies work culture is like going to a school/college and get micro managed plus compulsory work hours regardless of the work you do.

Agree.

Lot of people in my circle went back to India and are very happy.

Couple of those guys recently came to US on a visit and were complaining about the customer service here lol.

Facilities are much better in Hyderabad especially healthcare and support system.

Matter in 1 line.

Anyone who worked in US for 5 years and saved, invested their money can return to India.

People who plan to move to India won’t cancel their plans because of posts portraying India as corrupt.
At the same time, people who don’t want to move to India won’t decide to move there because of posts glorifying India.

Thank you hypocrite. No sane person would have any trust in ur portrayal. I rest my case here.

India can be a good place, but it isn’t the right fit for everyone—otherwise we wouldn’t keep seeing stories like this. https://m.economictimes.com/nri/latest-updates/one-indian-caught-at-us-border-every-20-minutes-in-2025/amp_articleshow/127530667.cms Try spending two-three months in Hyderabad and see how it feels. Many people are surprised, unless they either have enough financial comfort to look past everyday realities, or they’re there primarily to care for their parents.

Its not about portraying as corrupt or glorifying it.

Its about the reasoning behind it.

Always gather data from both bulls and bears before buying a stock.

Similarly , people thinking is stuck from a decade ago. Lot of things have changed.

India has become better in terms of jobs and infra. And at the same time H1 amendment came into picture and immigrant life became more uncertain in US.

Only problematic thing is AQI for which I have been posting about improvements in battery tech so that people can plan ahead.

There are 2 Indias.

People getting caught at border are usually from impoverished regions.

We are mostly talking from the perspective of Telugu NRIs.

Yeah it usually stretches because we take time to learn about investments here.

In any case, anyone who plans to go back should have their I140 approved 6 months before.
