Health is not 80% diet and 20% exercise.

Ade point....thy use to take so much carbs but so little sugars. Sweets and paayasam type sugar intake was only during festival time...rest of the time very little sugars.

this post seem to suggest that doing exercise and then having beer and biryani will not anything to the body....such a misleading information. Neekardham cheskodam raadantaaru...inkela ardham cheskovali. what does 100% exercise mean? diet doesn't matter anega health ki.

They had no luxuries, did agriculture, walk some km's to get water, simple life without much modern-day stress, no rat race, Ignore oily or junk food, did not even have much food to eat - They needed carbs for those. 

We have luxuries now, cars and bikes, ACs at home and office - Eat junk, sugar and no exercise. Even if you do exercise, it's not enough, you need to control diet ... 

We cannot compare the lifestyles at all ..

Just saying that if you exercise, you will automatically cut down on beer and biryani.

I have explained it multiple times....but people tend to continue with their own bias

Time and Time again it has been proven that 95% of general population are disconnected from reality and just repond to current trends.

would say 50-50, with just diet you can maintain weight but you will feel shitty with out exercise

atleast 30-40 mins of cardio 2-3x a week + weights 2-3x a week is a must, so target 4-5 days/week

Most of our folks just do cardio, strength training is also needed as you lose muscle starting in 30's, lot of desi folks look lean but have a tummy or less muscle

also Vitamin D+K, Zinc, Copper, Magnesium glycinate will help

also less carbs (not zero carbs), choose fruits with low glycemic index and protein as you need

Abs workout will only make your about muscles stronger it won't reduce fat .

Expected…with the kind of nonsense u talk, I will not stand down. I do exercise regularly (pickleball and running daily, biking on weekends. Over the past decade I have finished 4 halfs, 3 full marathons and 3 MS150 type biking events. After all this, I still crave for my fav food like @andhra_jp suggested. Even kandal kantha raos like jackie shroff told he has sundays as cheat days. Now you tell me how ur theory of 100% exercise will get rid of carbs/sugar cravings and help towards better diet. Its all about exercising with balanced diet control. Musali muthaka gallochi migatha vallela bathakaloo cheppakkarle.
