After 2000's little difference in any batch but more and more scrap migrated and as more people migrated it was easier to form closed communities.

Except doctors and genuine engineers and those that went to state schools, even during dot com bubble many learned courses in Ameerpet and came to US on fake experience. It all started then. Even today, if USCIS genuinely wants, the experience and education verification it do it and any discrepancies in the information can be used as grounds for "misrepresentation" and proceed with legal action including deportation. Kani adhi cheyyaru.

That's why I said before 2000's.

But those people have hit the jackpot ,low competition ,got stock options  in tech companies which are worth multiple millions now if they are still there.

If they have worked in early google ,nvidia in 2000's or msft in 90's they should have easily more than 10  million in stock options now that much easily liquidifiable money is on par with succesful small cap business people in India
