Trump needs to moderate his immigration policy implementation.

One of the reasons most people voted for him is the Biden administration's criminal negligence on border control. Literally millions of people walked into US - and had put enormous pressure on local communities' resources - imagine a small town of 10,000 people now burgeoning into a 50,000 town - with the same exact number of resources. It resulted in chaos, crime and difficulties for everyone - immigrants and locals.

Trump administration literally fixed the border in mere weeks - the illegal crossings which were in thousands trickled down to less than 100 in most places. This only went to show the Democrats' in one sense manufactured the crisis at the border in the first place.

Most Democrats while paying lip service to immigration - do not want their own squeaky clean suburbs to include these new immigrants. 

 

Democrats can actually take a sane position on immigration and reap rewards instead of swinging back to their extreme position on having open borders - anyone can come here since this is a land of immigrants' etc., narrative. Then why bother even having an immigration system?

The honest thing would be to have an "open" entry system where anyone in the world should be able to walk in and participate in the American dream since this country is made by immigrants from all over the world. 

Bottom line is the Trump administration - if not careful - can cede the advantage they gained on immigration especially from the Latino community which swinged heavily in their favor in the last elections.

Latino communities are mostly still rooted in Christian faith and follow traditional family values which is more adjacent to the Republican party values.

Let's see how the Trump admin reacts to this.
