For now, let us have a brief look at the kind of financial allocation and project issuance that has happened in favour of the state. The Union Budget presented today by Nirmala Sitharaman has announced significant allocations for the state including ₹1,128.91 Crore for the development of the capital city, Amaravati. On top of that, the capital city got ₹432.09 Crore for integrated urban development in the capital region. Another ₹800 Crore was allocated for urban drinking water and drainage management. The list of financial allocations made to the state are listed as below: Polavaram Irrigation Project: ₹3,320 crore A.P.
