Then everyone dhamal ... Its good to have fear but also identify opportunities and once you realize the opportunities, move it into other assets. 

On a lighter note .. You need to have some real estate and diversify your portfolio. 

I took a couple of plans in india last time with Max Life Insurance policy. They are decent and pay well after maturity. Like the one i took, I pay 5 lakhs/year for 10 or 12 years. They start paying from year 11 or 13- INR 60k/month for the next 10 years. After 22 years I get a lumpsum of 2-3 crs. If anything happens once I take the policy, I get all the benefits and I do not have to make remaining payments.
