Blade battery is being used in Mahindra XEV9e and XEV 9s which starts at 20 L. And it is Version 1 which is older tech. Even the BYD cars in India have Version 1. Version 2 just started in China less than a month ago. ok...i didn't look into version 2 yet...but how about the resale...manaollaki kavalsinde adi..resale is market is disaster for evs in india...i myself got a Nexon less than 1 year old for 16L (Original Price 22L) and friend got MG EV for 15.5 (Original Price 25L).. This same cycle happened with gasoline cars as well when they were first introduced. The rate of advancements were high and nobody wanted to buy an older version. They also believed that horse carriages were much better. Every new tech in transport sector goes through this. If you look at taxis, with battery advancements, petrol or deisel taxis won't be able to compete due to high running costs and they will flood the market in future. ICE vehicles resale values would plumment. Commercial vehicles are quick to upgrade. No wonder Amazon signed a deal for 100000 Electric trucks way back. Companies also want to show that they are environmentally friendly. All this would lead to more money funnelled into improving battery tech. Govt can bring new mandates. Psychology of people will also change. One of my collegues was living in a lane where everyone had Teslas. He could see the disgust on their faces when he drove his BMW. He had to sell and buy a Tesla 🤣 "The 5% market share tipping point signals a rapid acceleration in EV adoption, transitioning from early adopters to mainstream consumers" Previously noone used to buy EVs. Now people looking for good deals like you have started buying. And its much easier to shift to EV in India than in US as the cost is cheaper and the govt isn't trying to defend Big Oil as India doesn't have Oil deposits. Solar is also very cheap due to cheap labor. Look at first 1 minute of this video. See how many people have solar panels on top of their villas Quote

You also get a very powerful vehicle. Blade battery Version 2 coming to India in next 6 months. This will make EVs same cost as petrol. Sodium Ion breakthrough also happened. Sodium ion is cheaper as there is no expensive Lithium involved. Sodium Batteries are bulk and cannot be used for cars...... World is waiting for Solid State Batteries...Currently One Manufacturer claiming they did it. Quote

Solid state will happen in 3-4 years.....but blade battery version 2 and sodium ion are 6-9 months max. Quote
