Zero new projects around Kadapa or Kurnool . The only projects that are still going on like medical colleges and expressways are that of Jagan government . Zero implementation of promised super six schemes , to top it all , corruption by local MLAs . A wipeout is gaurantee with 0 seats in these two districts plus all Anantapur and Chittoor seats except 3 or 4 seats next time .

Even in 2019 , 23 was the result . The ruling government quality matters . If people do not see development reaching them , then they will change their vote .

Some developments , to be fair , were there such as Kia motors , renewable projects in Kurnool and Kadapa , Sri City and Tirupati electronics industries etc after bifurcation in first nda term .
 

Even the medical colleges and expressway projects - Bengaluru Kadapa Vijayawada , Chennai Chittoor Bengaluru expressway works are going on . 
 

However , this time it is a disaster . The last 2 years have seen very little proactive measures . Only hope is that the expressway works will bring some connectivity to the districts . The government is talking about aerospace and defence manufacturing , but will have to see how far they succeed .

 

There is a gap between announcements and ground level implementation . One thing I understood from speaking to locals in Kadapa is that people are angry about non implementation of welfare schemes and the corruption and sand mining by local MLAs . Even pensions are not disbursed on time and local officials want bribe . People are frustrated , if there is anger this early on , only god can save the government . Unless they make serious course corrections , it is impossible to reverse this level of negative sentiment .

To some extent , I agree when you say that consecutive governments are not able to live up to the expectations of the people .

What real estate ? Even bigger towns like Kurnool and Kadapa have seen real estate collapse . As of now , only some projects near Bangalore Kadapa Addanki expressway and Sri City are seeing traction , otherwise everywhere else in Rayalaseema , it is complete standstill . The situation is hopeless .

I heard that situation is somewhat better in Vizag , as some of the friends in real estate sector say land rates are better due to hype around Bhogapuram airport and Google data centres .
