It appends query parameters at the end which contains data about your account.remove the part from and after the question mark.

I would be interested to know more on this as I know pretty well how instagram is built. and ?igsh was different for every link. Will research on this

It's different because it is hashed using a different seed everytime.

People can't see the info but instagram decodes the hash and then recommends your account to them whenever they click the link so they see your account then.

I have no idea why they do that .
