 very serious update.  1. Dec 12 2025. there was a memo to run finger prints and biometric, photo appointment background check

 

. 2. They are implementing this very strictly 


3. If you are through a random Desi staffing agency , which is running pay checks to keep you in status while under stem, they are taking such work patterns very strictly and pushing through a series of additional rfe that are impossible to dispute.

4. If you are filing h1b through random staffing agencies without proper pay stubs ..you might get h1b approved in consular process your stem status turn in to complete instead of active. In such scenarios you need to get h1b stamped immediately

Yes. They can no longer play the game of cat and mouse with inhouse projects. 

USCIS is doing site visits for students on stem opt to genuinely verify the inhouse status

2. USCIS vs IRS. They don't have direct access to share the data. It is a post like this on different media sharing the info.

That is ICE not USCIS. Pen pattukoni ni benifit document ni approve/reject chesedi USCIS. Gun pattukoni  assam pampedi ICE.

Both come under DHS. thy will have the same access all across.

Hello, where did I mention biometric and pay stubs in one bullet point? Read it again.

->Pay stubs is for stem opt extension on site visit. They don't ask/collect pay stubs or evidence  during biometric appointments.

->Biometric appointments are to collect finger prints,  extend the amount of scrutiny/background checks on f1 students.

 

Both are different developments that affects f1 students

Your are 100% correct. ekkada ICE made MOU with IRS not DHS. If DHS has made it, then they both can access it. IRS data, not just F1, H1, L1 or X1 there is an ocean on the other side. So it can't be accessed, just like my brother ICE has access. Let me see this F1/H1 record.
