is it good from Canada side or USA side?

Better to drive from Cleveland OR Detroit OR get to Toronto??

Watching Falls from US Side is like standing behind the guy engaged in *ex and seeing him. Canada side is like you Being that guy

Canada side vellu bro. If you travel through Canada then do the bridge/tunnel crossing in Detroit and drive to Niagara. You can also enjoy some good Indian food in Toronto suburbs.

NO!

Niagara visit lo best things are the boat tour and going near the falls.. watching the falls from the Canadian side..

unless you are getting everything for very cheap, it is not worth the trip if you are spending lot of money..

Watching frozen version of Niagara also a different experience.  The falls are now more than 50% frozen which happened after 15 years.

If you frequently visit or visited before, go for it.. first time aithe, you will enjoy more during spring or fall..

US side has better cruises. But in winter, Canadian side hands down as there are no cruises.

Route doesn't matter as much. But visiting Toronto gives you access to one of the  BEST INDIAN FOOD in North America. If you decide to take up visiting Toronto hit me a DM, I will give a list of places to try Indian food. 

Crossing into US has never been a problem for me. I have about 150+ entry exits in my I94. Crossing into Canada too is not a problem as I'm a citizen. 

If you're an H1B just keep the usual documentation that you need and as long as you have a valid stamp, I don't see why it becomes a problem.

You can make a day trip from Toronto to Ottawa or Montreal. But again, winter lo scenic drive ante antha Manchu mayam. Peddha chesedhi undadhu.

I was thr for 2018 new years. -25C vundindi appudu. It was like a winder wonderland. Falls never froze though
