Actress Shriya has been shooting in Chennai near Velachery for the film Thoranai with Vishal at the posh apartment complex Paramount Pearls for the last four days. The scenes involving the lead pair and Prakash Raj are being shot day and night.

Reportedly, Shriya became friendly with the residents of the apartments and gave them a pleasant surprise by visiting them whenever she had time to spare. Reportedly the actress chose to stay in some of the apartments during her rest time instead of sitting inside the vanity van that was provided for her on the location. They were also amused to see her enjoying herself on the swings and slides in the playground of the apartment complex.
