kingmakers Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Is there a cold war going on between Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao and Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chairman Prof Kodandaram?Once seen as a close confidante of KCR, this political science teacher from Osmania University now appears to be treading an independent path.Presently on a visit to Delhi, Prof Kodandaram had a busy schedule on Wednesday, meeting a string of senior political leaders from various parties as part of his mission to mobilize opinion in favour of introduction of a bill in the Parliament on creation of separate Telangana state. In the past, such political trips were the exclusive prerogative of KCR who has, over the last ten years, developed a good rapport with leaders of various parties and succeeded in bringing Telangana to the centre-stage of national politics. It is said that since the βMillion Marchβ rally in Hyderabad the wedge between KCR and Kodandaram has been widening.During his interactions with political leaders in the current Delhi mission, Kodandaram has refrained from mentioning about KCR. He called on BJP President Rajnath Singh, Janata, CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan, JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav and other leaders and sought their support in the fight for realizing the statehood goal.Kodandaram had also announced formation of a separate organization in Delhi, on the lines of TJAC, to mobilize support for the Telangana cause. Apparently, KCR is not involved in any of these exercises. CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y CITI_c$y
