Deletedid1 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Twenty-four kidnapped Chinese sailors were freed Friday after the Indian Navy warned the pirates onboard that warships were on their way, according to Maritime Executive magazine.After receiving warnings from an Indian navy maritime reconnaissance plane that naval warships were closing in, pirates onboard the Panama-flagged cargo ship Full City fled in their skiff back to their mothership.China’s Ministry of Transport reports that the crew is safe and in good condition, and the vessel will continue on its original voyage.Full City was hijacked a week ago nearly 850 nautical miles southwest of India’s coast.
