banti321 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Sopore township of Baramulla district of north Kashmir today, official sources said. The encounter took place when security forces laid a cordon around an under-construction house adjacent to the Law College in the township, 55 kms from here, this evening, they said. Reinforcements were rushed to the village to neutralise the militants, believed to be two to three in number.
