Blues10 Posted June 13, 2011 Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 Hi, I have small question. I have applied for H1b visa last month. It is under processing now and I have received my receipt no. My OPT is going to expire by this weekend. Since I am eligible for cap-gap extestion, I will get this extesnion. My problem is while I am on OPT my employer is a E-verified employer, but right now my visa sponsor employer is non-E-verified employer. raccha rambabu Posted June 16, 2011 Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 Boss!!!As far as I know.. you have to report to an E-Verified employer when we are on OPT status. If you are on H1 then that is a different story.Long story short.. u have to report to an E-Verified employer bcos u are still on OPT and will be changing ur status to H1 from Oct 1st.
