1. Extensive C/C++ coding & design experience
2. Must have Linux experience, Windows IDE experience is desirable
3. Must be independantly able to design & implement functionality
4. Should have good code review experience
5. Good OOAD experience, must be able to differentiate between various design patterns
6. Must be able to analyze warnings/ errors efficiently: Must know how a compiler will respond to code.
7. STL experience desired
8. Medical devices/Embedded domain desired


[b]2.Java Developer – 18 Positions[/b]

1. Core Java experience
2. No J2EE/Web App experience is OK. Instead he/she should have strong experience on standalone Java apps.
3. Multi-Threading experience desired, in-depth knowledge a must
4. Concurrency patterns, designs
5. Current SWING experience desired, SWING fundamentals should be clear.
6. Should have worked on various GUI components such as Charts including - Bar Charts, Pie Charts, Grid controls, etc.
7. OO experience desired, knowledge a must.
8. Design pattern implementation desired, knowledge a must (Need to be proficient to discuss on all design patterns beyond what they are currently using, e.g. Strategy, Decorator, Visitor, Observer,  Command, Chain of responsibility and not just Façade, Singleton, Factory)
9. Should be able to think in OO terms and not be write procedural code in Java (which most of the candidates were doing).
10. Should understand the fundamentals of Java, e.g. How GC works, What is a bytecode, What is the underlying fundamentals when a class is loaded, etc.
