patlola88 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 hello Guys..I am UNVA OPT Student.MY Initial OPT expires on 15 th october.. two weeks back i have applied to OPT Extension, i got the Initial letter from UICIS with case number which is in INITIAL REVIEW state. I am not sure whether i gonna appooved for OPT extension.... right now i am working in federal governament....More over my marriage is in DECEMBER... so i have to fly to india for that......I have two options;If i file an H1 now thoough primium, first i have to get H1 approoved and while i have to get H1 stamping when i go to india this december... i heard that, it is very difficult to get stamping these days in india.the second one is wait for the OPT Extension, if i get an extension then everything would be fine...of else i have to enroll in fresh university as a full time student to be in the status..... I am really confused abt which step to take....Please help me your ideas.........That would help me alot............
