I need to [url="http://www.andhrafriends.com/index.php?/topic/224992-india-travel-on-opt/#"]travel to India[/url] due to emergency. I would like to know is it safe to travel to india if i get a [url="http://www.andhrafriends.com/index.php?/topic/224992-india-travel-on-opt/#"]employment[/url] letter from consultancy even though my degree and OPT work doesnt match. I have MS degree in Chemistry but i will be getting a letter as consultant. Any other points i need to know, please let me know. I appreciate your time. Please suggest me. Thanks beplus+ Quote
Babu1184 Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 I traveled 2 times on OPT and had no issues. In San Francisco air port they just saw my I-20 that's it. Keep a new I-20 from your school and get signed by your school immigration specialist. Quote
