[b]Job Title 3: Informatica Developer[/b]
[b]Location: Detroit, MI[/b]

[b][u]GENERAL SUMMARY:[/u][/b]
The primary responsibilities of this position are application, development, maintenance and ‘on call” support.
With general supervision, provides support to existing production applications; and, performs technical analysis, design, development
and implementation of new applications using existing and emerging platforms.

[b][u]ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:[/u][/b][indent=1]· Provides application analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and integration.[/indent][indent=1]· Supports business process, problem analysis and consultation[/indent][indent=1]· Processes open defects or maintenance tickets and resolve technical issues[/indent][indent=1]· Ensures application and promotion package documentation is current and complete[/indent][indent=1]· Provides afterhours “on call” support.[/indent]

[b][u]REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:[/u][/b][indent=1]· Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, computer information systems or related field required. [/indent][indent=1]· OR in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree an additional five (5) years of development/support experience in addition to the experience requirement listed below.[/indent][indent=1]· Three (3) years experience working in a support/development environment required[/indent][indent=1]· [b]Informatica 9.x or higher experience[/b] [b]required[/b][/indent][indent=1]· SQL experience required[/indent][indent=1]· Data mapping/conversion required.[/indent][indent=1]· Understanding and following SDLC methodology required.[/indent][indent=1]· Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple project and timelines required.[/indent][indent=1]· Good verbal and written communication skills required.[/indent][indent=1]· Excellent problem solving skills required.[/indent][indent=1]· Testing procedures including creation of unit test cases/scripts, test data and validation of results required.[/indent][indent=1]· Ability to ensure SDLC methodology is followed, including conducting code reviews required.[/indent][indent=1]· Ability to create detailed technical design, code, test, debugs, document, and maintain applications required.[/indent]

[b][u]PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:[/u][/b][indent=1]· Healthcare experience preferred[/indent][indent=1]· Data Warehouse experience preferred[/indent][indent=1]· Knowledge of FTP and HIPAA compliant ANSI formatted EDI transactions preferred.[/indent][indent=1]· Business Objects XI experience preferred[/indent][indent=1]· BRIO/Hyperion experience preferred[/indent][indent=1]· Ability to act as a liaison with business personnel to conduct analysis of organizational needs for development and modifications of new and existing applications preferred.[/indent][indent=1]· Sybase databases including querying tools such as SQL advantage preferred[/indent][indent=1]· Oracle databases including querying tools such as SQL developer preferred[/indent][indent=1]· TWS batch scheduling tool preferred[/indent][indent=1]· PVCS preferred[/indent][indent=1]· UNIX preferred[/indent][indent=1]· IBM Mainframe: TPX-TSO-Docutext-EOS preferred.[/indent]
