Work Authorization For Dependent (f-2 Status)

Hai Everybody,
I am in my second phase of OPT. I am working in a reputed company on a contract basis. My wife is on F-2 status ( Dependent of F-1 ) . In F-2 Status she is not allowed to work. If she wants to work, in which status is it possible and how long it takes to change. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

on F-2 one cannot ....she can only work on H1....and her visa status will change depending what you have...if she wants to get a working or study visa she has to apply a new one in India..
