Both are on-site positions for atleast [b][u]1 Year[/u][/b], starting 1st February 2012. Work location is Winona MN (1 month for training) followed by 11 months in [b][u]Detroit, MI[/u][/b]. Please let us know if you have any potential candidates.[/size][/font] [font="Palatino Linotype"][size="2"][b][u]General Description of the work:[/u][/b][/size][/font] [font="Palatino Linotype"][size="2"]Software developer to use the Mathworks modeling tool chain to create and modify MATLAB models implementing components of an HVAC control (component requirements and content are customer-defined). Once implemented, integrate these components into a larger HVAC application model that will be supplied to other engineers for further integration. All models will be tested via test vectors, some supplied by the customer, and some will have to be created.[/size][/font] [font="Palatino Linotype"][size="2"][b][u]Requirements:[/u][/b][/size][/font] [font="Palatino Linotype"][size="2"]Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive environment, embedded micro-controllers; S/W development[/size][/font] [font="Palatino Linotype"][size="2"][b][u]Musts:[/u][/b] Bachelors in EE, CE or CS. Others considered only with exceptional experience. Good to excellent communications skills as these positions will be located in the customer facility, and communications will be key and occasionally complicated. Good team player - located at customer site, but will have to "remember who they work for". Excellent process orientation, all work will be done via a process, and rigorous change management will be practiced. Solid experience with MATLAB modelling and code generation from models, and testing models via test vectors. Solid experience with automotive controls. Experience in C-language programming and CAN tools. Ability to travel occasionally, mostly to Winona, possibly to other customer sites.[/size][/font] [font="Palatino Linotype"][size="2"][b][u]Nice to haves:[/u][/b] Experience with MS Access or Access-based applications.
