[b]UHC[/b], a national alliance of over 100 academic health centers, has an opening for a Senior Systems Analyst in the Information Technology department.

This position will expand the in-house expertise in building and supporting various data intake components using Informatica ETL technologies, active batch scripting, Vertica and SQL Server 2005 and 2008 components. This is a hands-on senior developer position using Informatica technologies. The ideal candidate should be able to lead a team of developers if needed and assist developers in the analysis, development, support and maintenance of new and existing data intake processes. The candidate may also be assigned to a deployment team responsible for late evening deployment (after 7PM) of changes to production.

[b]REQUIREMENTS[/b]

-Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and equivalent Information technology experience
-6+ years of Informatica development experience (9.x, 8.x, 7.x) and MS SQL Server 2005 (Transact SQL Stored Procedures) based on Transact SQL development
-Understanding of ETL Architecture best practices and IT experience specializing in a data warehouse environment
-Ability to lead teams and deliver results with minimum supervision
-Experience with all Power center transformation types and reusable components
-Ability to design, code and unit test complex Power Center applications
-Ability to troubleshoot problems with Informatica objects
-Experience with scheduling tools and Vertica is a plus

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
