Now On F1-Opt Filing 1040 Instd Of 1040Nr, Will It Affect Gc Process?

Now on F1-OPT filing 1040 instd of 1040NR, will it affect GC process????
I have been filing the same from 2008 onwards since i got my SSN...
I know that I can ammend the returns using 1040-X, but do you think it is necessary??

dont know abt OPT..but h1 loo aite we can file for 1040..endhakantee..during h1 if you wrk more than 6 months with in a state then u will come under resident category while filling you taxes...correct me if I am wrong
