ETL development for [b]Data[/b] Warehousing and [b]Data[/b] Integration projects with 7+ years of DataStage experience

Proven knowledge and experience with ETL design and development using DataStage parallel jobs

Solid skills at performing the following tasks using various ETL stages:

Process [b]data[/b] from various sources to Oracle tables or flat files


Filter, combine or aggregate source [b]data[/b]

Look or Join source with reference [b]data[/b]

Dedup

Delta detection for incremental load

Update and insert based on key field

[b]Data[/b] transformation based on business logic (exceptions)

Experience in expanding DataStage capabilities by incorporating Unix or SQL script into ETL jobs

Experience in ETL job troubleshooting and performance tuning



[b]SQL Skills (Primarily PL/SQL, TSQL is a plus)[/b]

Proficient in writing SQL statements including DML/DDL statements, analytic SQL, set-based sub-queries

In-depth knowledge of SQL tuning techniques such as execution plan, join order, indexing and hint, etc

Experience with PL/SQL programs such as the trigger, user defined datatype, sequence, function and proc
