kingmakers Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 TV9 covered ‘The Exiled’ news for little time and stopped for unknown reasons. And it claimed that the news in the website is not correct. How can a media channel confirm that the news is wrong bluntly?Neither it’s head nor were its crew with YSR in helicopter that day. No one from TV9 knows what truth is for sure. If they know they can come out with all evidences and prove that something is incorrect. Arrest warrants were issued on TV5 heads and eventually Sakshi team today. Many journalists have condemned that. And Sakhi CEO Ram Reddy called for a Press Meet and said that why arrest warrants are not issued on TV9? And TV9 immediately reacted with words like ‘Ram Reddy vekili kootalu tippi kodathaam’ blah blah. Is this the language a responsible channel uses for the CEO of other channel? TV9 claims it’s there for ‘merugaina samajam’. Do the educated people in ‘merugaina samajam’ use such language? And TV9 says ‘state would have burnt wild had we aired the news in the way Sakshi and TV5 did”. That way the channel boasts its huge TRP.Well, what sort of chaos the channel created in the state with Telangana turmoil? There are rumors in public that TV9 took big bucks from KCR to give wide coverage for his movement. It’s TV9 that started letting T-fires first in the state. Lot of government property was burnt down; people also committed suicides watching what TV9 was showing that time. Can TV9 bring back those lives? And same is the case here. Some big hands must have paid huge bucks for TV9 to stop airing the news regarding The Exiled. Hence it could have stopped it. Then why reverse news? Instead of saying that the news in The Exiled is wrong, it could prefer sitting quiet like ETV.
