kingmakers Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Having faced the bad times for the past one and half months due to Telangana as well as United Andhra demonstrators, now the entire Telugu Film Industry is banking totally on Sankranti releases. A business worth around Rs 150 crores is on the cards and no doubt producers and distributors are praying all Gods possible to ensure a smooth kick off of Sankranti season. The movies of NTR, Venkatesh, Ravi Teja and Nithin along with few smaller budget films are expected to hit the theaters during this festive season. What is worrying is that the business which could have churned out double the estimate is affected by the on going disturbance in the state?
