He leads the list of batsmen with most centuries in international cricket this year. The series victory was India's sixth in a row in ODIs, equalling their longest sequence of series wins before this, starting with the bilateral series in Sri Lanka in 2008 and ending with the Compaq Cup tri-series in 2009.

There is grass on the wicket and we will try to exploit it. As a sportsmen we have to adjust to different conditions. Some of the guys had a few niggles but we have a full squad to select from. Cottrell is playing today. We have played well against New Zealand and would like to continue the same way.'
