PRP is a Vishavruksham: Parakala Prabhakar

More bad news awaited the PRP on Thursday as the party spokesperson Parakala Prabhakar resigned from the party. Addressing a press conference on the PRP headquarters in Jubilee Hills, Parakala Prabahkar minced no words as he called the Prajarajyam a "Visha Vrukhsham" (Poisonous Tree).

Stating that this was not a decision taken in anger he said, "I have pondered uopn the decision for a long time and have made this decision with a lot of pain because I have failed to convince the party leaders not to go on a wrong track,” he said. Parakala Prabhakar alleged that all is not well with the functioning of the party.

"Initially, I thought mistakes are happening because of lack of understanding. But I began to think about the aim of starting the party. There is a flaw in the birth of the party itself," he said.

Stating that he does not have the ability to reverse the process of decay in Praja Rajyam he said, “I am a very small man and I do not have the capability to correct the rot. But I have a responsibility to tell all the people who believed in me that this party is a destructive force.”

He said the motive behind starting the party seems to be something different. The rumours doing rounds about PRP are true to a large extent, Prabhakar said adding it was his duty to tell the party workers that the party is infected with poison.

However he refused to take names of individuals saying, “I don’t want to accuse anyone in particular for the state of affairs in the party, but I can say that PRP is like a company and I am leaving it. I am not sure PRP is a forum that is working honestly,” he said adding that he was quitting the party to clean-up his mistakes, but he was not sure whether to continue in politics.

మరో పది రోజులు ఆగితే పరకాల ఏ పార్టీలో చేరుతరో తెలిసిపోతుందని అన్నారు.  చిరంజీవిని కాని  ఆయన పెట్టియం పార్టీని కాని విమర్శిస్తే మేము ఎంత మాత్రం చూస్తూ సహిస్తూ ఉండలేమని ఆల్లు చెప్పారు. తాము 95 మంది పేదలకు టికెట్లు ఇచ్చామని డబ్బులకు టికెట్లను అమ్ముకోవాల్సిన దుస్థితి పార్టీకి లేదని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
