Cheating and forgery cases against Aravind

Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi’s brother in law and party candidate from Anakapalle LS constituency Allu Aravind is facing charges in five cases, including that of cheating, forgery and criminal intimidation.

According to affidavit submitted by Aravind himself to the Election Commission, cases are pending against him in Salem city of Tamil Nadu, filed under five different sections, which are of course stayed by Tamil Nadu High Court. The five cases include: criminal conspiracy, cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property, forgery of valuable security and will; forgery for purpose of cheating and using a forged document and electronic record as genuine one.

However, Aravind has not been convicted so far in any case; hence, he is able to contest the elections!
