Need for a TFS and Build specialist .This is a role of a technical lead / senior developer who would focus on multiple aspects of the build process, source control and WBS. Required Skills: Minimum 5+ years in software development, and build/release management. Extensive experience in using and customizing Team Foundation Server 2010 Experience in build release engineering, both in automating and in monitoring builds, and in software configuration management. Experience in defining, implementing and maintaining complex branching strategies. Knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle. Great communication skills, both oral and written Ability to work in fast-paced environment with Theoretical and practical knowledge of CMMI 5.0 process Has experience in setting up automated builds systems as well as monitoring systems. Quick learner in order to learn new tools, languages, platforms quickly Experience with Microsoft Virtual Server, Microsoft IIS, Win2008 Server Good knowledge of C# and .Net 4.0 Able to generate reports from TFS using SQL reporting services. Experience in TFS team site (on WSS). Responsibilities: Defining and implementing project build and branching strategies. Assessing, defining, developing and deploying build process improvements, using Team Foundation Server 2010. Automating the build process as much as possible in order to streamline the multi platform build process and reduce build and configuration errors. Creating and deploying tools that will unite, automate and monitor the build process Ensuring that the build process is scalable and easy to understand. Clearly documenting the build process and branching strategies. Coordinate build schedules between Dev, QA and management. Creating internal release builds for DEV and QA. Accountable for ensuring Work Items are up to date and regularly updated * Accountable for ensuring Builds are healthy.* Troubleshooting build breakages by diagnosing compilation, linking, dependency and integration errors; including communicating and working with developers to resolve build issues in a timely manner.
