I am on 60MPH and its automatically decreased to 20MPH and I raised the gas, but its not working. So I stop the car on road side and called to AAA for towing. Night AAA dropped the car at MIDAS. Today morning I went to MIDAS and the problem is the timing belt and some engine valves are gone. Mechanic told the repair cost might be couple of thousands and my car is 1999 ford - 107k....... I decided, to scarp this car.... I buyed this car from 3 months back...... I need to take another car for my part time...... Please suggest me......

[/quote] any car that is that old can break ..if you are driving it on free way... unfortunately. .. if you buy a 3000$ car again ..it has equal chances to break again.. and better buy a 3000 car again with 150$ inspection check from autocheck..
