[/quote] manam connect ayyevanni remote servers ke gaa using client tools you specify the server/instance name..local aythe localhost anyway...full backups lekunda migrate cheyalem..analysis services should be done first then the databases if you want to just upgrade the existing 2005 to 2008, just do inplace upgrade..lot easier
