As a member I would like to request you not to disclose any of your personnel information which may be emailid or phone# or address or any personnel conversation's in the Pm's. If you already have them then I don't know I would think its better to delete all the conversations...This is not to create any chaos but it is a safety measure..

As pe the discussion. Yes, it is possible for the administrator to access the board's MySQL database, where the messages are stored, so they could indeed read the member's messages. They could also change the user's passwords and then log in as them, and access them that way. So, yes, it is possible that the Admin could read the messages. However, by default, Moderators do not have such permission to do so, so the system does run as member-to-member unless actions (such as reporting a message's content to the moderators, in which case, they can see the conversation) are taken otherwise." -- IPB community
