He was born on[b] 4 December[/b] 1922 in [b]Choutapalli[/b], Gudivada. His birth name is [b]Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao[/b] popularly known by Ghantasala. Ghantasala got his[b] first break[/b] as a singer from [b]All India Radio[/b] and debuted as a [b]chorus singer[/b] and for a character role in[b] Seeta Rama Jananam[/b]. He compose the music and as a singer many other languages such as Telugu,[b]Tamil[/b], Kannada, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi.
