Need support for a project Loadrunner performance tester.

We are looking for a Mid to Sr. Performance Test Engineer skilled in automated test script development to join our production verification test team and ensure the quality of nearly 200 enterprise applications. Enjoy 20% telecommuting (after completing 3 months of onsite job ramp up in Alexandria). This is a full time role with strong benefits!

This position is for candidates skilled in HP LoadRunner, Rational Performance Tester OR have strong scripting experience in C or Java in lieu of tools.

Responsibilities:
* Lead testing efforts in one or more areas; allocate test responsibilities, provide technical guidance, and review work of other team members
* Provide testing and analysis of complex systems to ensure systems are compliant with standards and requirements
* Analyze requirements and write test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify system functionality
* Perform tests, analyze results, produce test reports, and make deployment recommendations
* Coordinate with other testers to resolve test problems and ensure customer satisfaction
* Communicate directly with government staff orally and in writing to plan testing and report results

General Requirements:
* Strong understanding of test and verification processes, methods, and tools
* Proven ability to create automated test scripts and analyze results using either LoadRunner or Rational Performance Tester (note: LR is most commonly used)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong problem solving skills
