Inner View: Mitrudu

Yuvaratna Nandamuri Balakrishna who disappointed all with his over hyped ‘Okka Magadu’ salvaged a bit of his presence when his devotional movie ‘Pandurangadu’ came in. Though that movie also failed to shine at the box office, it was not as bad as ‘Okka Magadu’.

So in order to make up for all the flops Balayya is all set to arrive with his new venture. This has been titled ‘Mitrudu’ and the film as the title suggests is going to be more of a friendly family entertainer than anything else.

This marks the debut of Mahadev as the director while one of Balayya’s long time loyal Sivalenka Krishna Prasad happens to be the producer of this flick. As such, the budget has been quite high on this one as is the regular Balayya movie and this time, the leading lady of the film happens to be the hot and buxom beauty Priyamani.

The music for this has been composed by Mani Sharma, the gaana Brahma. The film also has Brahmanandam, Chandra Mohan, Tanikella, Pradeep Rawat as part of the support cast.

Debutante director Mahadev happens to be the protégé of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli and it is heard from sources close to him that the film has shaped out really well but they don’t want to create much hype for it. The film will also see Balayya in all the ‘Navarasas’ and yet again Priyamani is said to be giving a complete visual feast with her oomph and sex appeal.

Balayya has been busy with the election campaigning and all that since quite sometime and now he has got some break with it. The audio of ‘Mitrudu’ has already been released and it has been getting some real good response. Interestingly, there was no audio release function or anything and it came directly to the market.
