aa script lo e below line undi chdu adi change chey as per your path and req.

or x in `find /u02/app/oracle/admin/SHARK/adump -name "exp-*" -type f -atime +30

"exp-*" place lo aa alert log location or listener log location lo files starting with ani evvu ...then it will work

alert log and listener.log files aithe..manual or through script zip cheyali..or else truncate cheyali (using cat /dev/null > alert_db.log )

[/quote] u need to come up with a script, lets say ni alert_<dbname>.log so n so size reach aithe .. zero cheseyyatam or else tail -10000 alert_dbname.log > bkup_alert_dbname.log chesi zero chesey alert log ni using dev/null
give a try .. chinna script raayatam nerchuko, best chance idhe niku to learn

[/quote] remember .. adrci only purges trc,trm,xml files ..it will not purge alertlog or listenerlog files .. sometimes these log files can grow in gb, when no cleanup scripts have been placed
