He is a true legend as far as Telugus are concerned. First of all, there is no data about the voting pattern. I am sure 90% of the votes polled come from AP/TN. This is because cinema is a part of lives of AP and TN people. They cant separate life and cinema. But its not the case in North. They dont care about movies. Even their most admired actor Amitabh struggled to win a straight MP election. Also I donno whats the criteria that they have used for options. There are no senior heroes from North in that list. had it been the case, votes would have split up. I myself lived in 10 different cities of North and most of the people whom I interacted said that they heard name NTR, but dont know anything about him. P.S: I dont get anything if NTR is voted No.1 or he is lost in the list. But for those who say that he alone represents AP is a myth.

But yeah, trend is slowly reversing.....a lot of IT professionals' and Doctors' phenomenal achievements in recent decades are slowly erasing that bad image. If you live in UK/US/WesterEurope, if at all any white man appreciates an Indian, its only due to them being a succesful doctor or an IT professional, but not because of Mahatma Gandhi or Sachin tendulkar or.................yeah, NTR or something else.
