I'm having a telephone interview with Amazon for Data center Linux and hardware Engineer position, with Data Center Technician.
I'm not from this area at all but don't want to miss this opportunity,i'm from Electronic Engg background.

If any one working in this area, Can you please suggest me what areas to focus on ...

Linux admin knowledge, shell scripting, memory management, mamaging linux clusters, tcp/ip related questions, also configuration management tools like puppet or chef

preferred qualification evi adigaru :

• Remote Access: Console routers, IPMI, BMC
• Network Equipment Installation and Configuration
• Cisco IOS, NX-OS, JunOS
• Redundancy: Power feeds, ATS, Server Hardware, RAID, Network Connectivity
• Data Center Operations: Inventory Management, Hot/Cold Aisles, Security
• Participated in Project Management
• Experience or Knowledge of AWS products: EC2, EBS, S3 etc.
• Scripting: Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby (or programming languages)
