At that juncture rumours and a massive campaign against the piracy of films was doing the rounds. A group of fans had entreated Mahesh Babu into commercial CD shops in the town. They went into the `Check-In CD Hunt' and `Sony Video Mixing' outlets in Warangal town. Elated by the presence of their matinee idol Mahesh Babu's fans went on rampage and damaged equipment and furniture.[/size][/font][/color]

Cases under Section 365, 147, 448, 435 read with 149 of IPC were registered at Intejargunj police station and cases under Section 147, 452, 324, 427 read with 149 of IPC were registered at Matwada.[/size][/font][/color]
[color=#333333][font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]Mr Mahesh Babu had surrendered in the Court on September 20, 2004. He had appeared before the court on April 22, 2006 and now again he was here for the final hearing in the case.[/size][/font][/color]
[color=#333333][font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]Mahesh Babu was the accused number one while film director K Gunasekhar, Ramesh Kumar, D Ram Babu and Gande Naveen were named as other accused in order.[/size][/font][/color]
