Alaska does not have sales tax & income tax + Alaska gives permanent fund every year to Alaskan residents from its oil pipeline money....ante every year if you are an Alaska resident you get a cheque for $1000 per person in the family by October 1st...This is just to encourage residency in Alaska :)

Anchorage & Seward side much better weather by Alaska standards....Resurrection Bay is the only water body which does not freeze during winter because it gets the warm Japanese currents from Pacific Ocean ata
