But this time around he is likely to do a comedy film with none other than Sreenu Vytala. The background for this project is fairly interesting. Sreenu Vytala actually scripted a film with Venkatesh in mind, but when Venkatesh was offered Marmayogi with Kamal Hassan, he showed more inclination towards that movie, dropping Sreenu’s offer. Now, Sreenu Vytla is a determined guy and he decided to go ahead with the project anyhow. He felt that the project is worthy of a big hero and so he approached JrNTR. JrNTR on his part always wanted to try his hand on comedy, and when he saw this offer from Sreenu Vytla coming through, he immediately jumped on it. He will now do the film once he completes Adurs with V V Vinayak.
