IDI Bayya program..... e program 5 input ni use chesukuntundhi, which are in .XLS format. so i impoted this 5 reports to oracle table each one to one table.

Only who knows SAS & SQL can understand this ...You created 5 tables..
What should each procedure do?/ What tables are used?
Post some test data..Also write some pseudo code as to what should be done at each step.

e SAS program lo 5 input files unnayi.
1) CoCodeXref
2) IBNP
3) RELweight
4) Totalvolume6
5) direct

nenu oka 2 days e program chepinchukunna.
e 5 input files lo data sort chesi konni conversions chesi final ga 3 out files generate chesthunadu

So all this managed by the actuarial to generate a report. my manager wants me to covert the program to a SQL procedure which can give the same out put as the SAS program

the above 5 sources are in .XLS format so can we use this as an external table. and write a program to do the same as the SAS program is doing.
